Tailgating and Drunk Driving |

Physics and biology students from MVHS schools across
Maryland collaborated to model one mechanism through which alcohol consumption
increases the likelihood of an accident. The biology students, who
worked with a model of alcohol metabolism, shared their information about
blood alcohol content (BAC) with the physics students, who investigated
how BAC changes reaction rate, an important factor
in the tailgating model.
